Despite the ever changing forecast the weather on the day was warm and bright with a consistent breeze from the West. The profile was a deceptive U shape with a long flat enableing great time to be made on the return journey but the final climb amplified up and over Cannock Chase with tired legs. The ride was enjoyed by all of the riders and many thanks to Ian (our driver) for regulary checking our water bottles and carrying bags / spares.
