Following the success of the 2010 NSTTS, Stafford Road Club is once again working in partnership with the participating clubs to promote the 2011 Series. This year we also welcomed 2 new clubs into the League 'Crewe Clarion' and 'Goldtec'. A variety of events have been selected from the 14 participating clubs annual Time Trial calendar for inclusion in this year’s Series.

Every participating club rider (or private individual) who rides one of these events will be entered into the Series and allocated points based on their overall position in the event and number of riders participating. Normal club entry fees will apply; no additional costs are associated with entry into the Series.

The NSTTS will be based on a rider’s best 5 events, but there is no minimum number of events needed to participate. As part of the Series there will be a competition for ‘fastest actual time’, ‘Vets’ based on standard times, ‘Womens’, ‘Juniors’ and a ‘Team / Club’ competition which will be based on the 3 highest scoring riders from any one club. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each Series competition.

Full details of the events and current rider’s standings can be found via our www.staffordrc.org and select the Events / Time Trails link off the homepage. You will also find details of last years Series including the riders who took part, points score and overall placing in each of the competitions.

These events are held as Class B events under the rule of Cycle Time Trials (previously called RTTC). The events are open to anyone to ride; they do not have to belong to a club.

We hope you will all enjoy this year’s Series and that it provides you with the opportunity to ride a few more locally based courses and adds variety to the coming season.
